Whatever floats her boat

"I'm gonna dip it Momma, Otay?" says Bree at dinnertime.

"Okay" I agree.  Wait a minute.  Dip what?

I turn just in time to see her dip her banana into her tomato soupYuck!  However the flavor must have been great to her as she proceeded to eat her entire banana that way.

Tattle-Tale

Lunch was on the table. Bree and I were getting ready to say our prayers.  I folded my hands, closed my eyes when:

Bree: "NOOOO Momma! Open your eyes like Daddy."

Good Eye, Babe

"It looks like Bee's shirt" shrieked a very excited two year old when she noticed that her breakfast cereal and her shirt matched.

Does it really?

"It hurts Bees tongue. Otay?" Bree says in reference to BBQ sauce, sour cream, orange juice or any other food she does not like. It even hurts her tongue to kiss boo-boos.

A Dinner Conversation

If Jim or I are not eating dinner at the same time with Bree, we allow her to watch tv at the dinner table. Normally this never presents as a problem but tonight I had to remind her to eat her dinner at least five times. With her bossy, know it all, two year old attitude, she looked straight at me and said

"No mommy. Bee watching teebee!"

And so ends that privilege.
